ChatGPT is the talk of the town. ChatGPT codes, does homework for students, . It can write a song, a poem or a personalized, detailed \"lawyer's letter\" to your noisy next-door neighbor!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There is no shortage of examples, and it does all of this and more with a disconcerting level of quality.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

So at this stage, is it still a gadget for organizations?

A grotesque parrot limited to small individual tasks?

He is a creative person, but can he be effective and efficient enough to bring value to a complex innovation process?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

ChatGPT sometimes talks nonsense! No ?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Il existe de nombreuses critiques \u00e0 l’\u00e9gard de ChatGPT. Ces critiques sont l\u00e9gitimes. Mais elles passent \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ce qui apparait, \u00e0 mes yeux, comme l’essentiel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Some make articles with charge only by trying to explain, that it is banal. That the innovation is limited. That it is not a breakthrough.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

And many point out the weaknesses, sometimes comical. It has become a game, almost viral...<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For example, He'll argue, with conviction that chicken eggs are naturally more fragile than... cow eggs! When everyone knows that it's actually the other way around \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Make no mistake.<\/strong> Ce n’est pas un gadget. c’est une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution<\/strong>. Pas une innovation incr\u00e9mentale. Plus qu’une rupture, c’est une innovation disruptive. Et M\u00eame plus que cela encore…

Despite his youth, he is already capable of thinking.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He doesn't think. He has no opinions, no feelings. He's not really capable of them. And that's a good thing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But he is capable of thinking, in multiple ways, in series on a precise subject. Or to link a concept to parallel subjects with disconcerting ease. And in the end, that's what's most astonishing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He does not think but he is able to Think. In the etymological sense of \"bending back, curving; bringing back\" He is able to fold, bend his billions of knowledge with an incredible agility to present them under a new angle.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Doesn't ChatGPT run the risk of replacing employees?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Il ne remplace pas l’humain ! Il augmente consid\u00e9rablement leurs capacit\u00e9s cognitives !

Humans are indeed able to distinguish a large number of nuances thanks to their consciousness and their ability to think through several prisms. Humans have a unique sensory perception.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It is as if we humans were endowed with the ability to distinguish the colorful nuances of an image or several images. With subtle gradations that the machine will not see.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But our ability to visualize in \"2D\" is limited compared to that of machines.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

ChatGPT does not have this sensitivity. It does not shade much, it is 12 levels of gray.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But on his side, he is able to think in 3D!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Evidemment, il faut que l’humain puisse proposer les bons angles d’attaque ou prompts, et ce au bon moment de la conversation avec chatGPT, mais ceci une autre histoire…<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Furthermore, machines can process and visualize images faster and more efficiently than humans.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Posez lui la question de rajouter 10 id\u00e9es connexes \u00e0 une seule et m\u00eame id\u00e9e et il fera le job… Pour nous humains, c’est compliqu\u00e9 de pouvoir g\u00e9n\u00e9rer autant d’id\u00e9es diff\u00e9rentes. Nous n\u2019avons pas cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre aussi rapidement en perspective nos images mentales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

ChatGPT est programm\u00e9 en cela pour \u00eatre un penseur “outside the box” tr\u00e8s naturel. Il permet de fournir un nombre quasi illimit\u00e9 d’images mentales !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Vous faites souvent r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au concept de “thaumatrope”, pourriez-vous nous en dire plus ?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Whereas our human mind spends a lot of time studying each mental image in all its nuances, ChatGPT is able to associate a very large number of images in record time and paste them one after the other in a logical fashion. The result is a coherent film.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

C’est pour cela qu’intuivement, je le per\u00e7ois comme un thaumatrope<\/a> knowledge.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

J’ai donc interroger CHatGPT \u00e0 ce sujet. Il me l’a confirm\u00e9. Il ne “comprend rien au film de ce qu’il raconte” comme dirait ma fille, mais en reliant un grand nombre de mots (ou d’images dans notre analogie) de fa\u00e7on logique, le cerveau humain lui, y verra un film coh\u00e9rent et exploitable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But to \"spin\" ideas, it is largely sufficient and efficient.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What skills do employees need to use ChatGPT?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pas de comp\u00e9tences particuli\u00e8res. c’est tr\u00e8s simple. Juste les informer sur ce que ChatGPT peut faire et ne pas faire. Et leur donner quelques conseils sur l’usage des prompts associ\u00e9s \u00e0 leur cadre professionnel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In my opinion, le “prompt” constitue la nouvelle fronti\u00e8re de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9<\/strong>. To find the right angle, you need to know how to ask the right questions, the right prompts as the neo-specialists say.\u00a0

Because while it thinks in 3D, it's not yet capable of deciding for itself to present the object in a particular way, so that its most relevant or creative facets come to the fore.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

C\u2019est \u00e0 vous de manipuler l\u2019objet. Comme si vous \u00e9tiez en train d\u2019actionner par le langage un objet, dans la main d\u2019un robot articul\u00e9. Mais vous l’avez vu ce robot comprend tout ce que vous lui demandez, et dans votre propre vocabulaire.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

En tout cas, le sujet des comp\u00e9tences est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressant. Dans nos premiers tests, on constate que l’interface engage plus et de fa\u00e7on beaucoup plus large. En effet, l’utilisation d’une plateforme d’innovation collaborative avec un outil de dialogue comme ChatGPT permet de valoriser l’exp\u00e9rience et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 des employ\u00e9s, m\u00eame s’ils ont des difficult\u00e9s d’expression \u00e0 l’oral ou \u00e0 l’\u00e9crit !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In conclusion, what do you see as the role of conversational agents like ChatGPT for organizations looking to innovate?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

En guise de conclusion, je dirais que ChatGPT n’est certes pas parfait. On ne peut pas lui faire confiance pour du \u00ab\u00a0fact checking\u00a0\u00bb. Il se la “raconte un peu en hallucinant” souvent… par ailleurs, il sera un co\u00e9quipier, encore un peu trop s\u00fbr de lui et un peu “pipelette”.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Tandis que pour brainstormer et entrevoir des sc\u00e9narios, c’est parfait !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Mais pour faire bouger les lignes, et faire “tourner” une id\u00e9e sur plusieurs dimensions, c\u2019est un outil in\u00e9dit, unique, performant, \u00e0 tr\u00e8s forte valeur ajout\u00e9e.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Malgr\u00e9 ce il est tr\u00e8s \u00e9conomique. Vous pouvez l’exploiter d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, en conservant bien s\u00fbr, un niveau d’interactions \u00e9lev\u00e9 avec les humains. Et c’est la ou il sera le plus performant. N’imaginez pas qu’il va vous pondre l’id\u00e9e du si\u00e8cle tout seul !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Mais int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans le bon outil d’innovation, qui lui permet de s’exprimer, tout en laissant l’humain en responsabilit\u00e9, c’est un “sparring partner” incontournable.

Reste \u00e0 trouver la bonne suite logicielle qui exploite ses capacit\u00e9s avec la meilleure int\u00e9gration possible au sein d’une organisation innovante.
